The foundation stone for a glass container manufacturing plant was laid in Kyzylorda

Today, a capsule-laying ceremony for the Seven Rivers glass plant took place in Kyzylorda. The ceremony was attended by regional Governor Murat Ergeshbayev, the founder of the Seven Rivers partnership, Anuar Umbetayev, senior law enforcement officials, construction company directors, and intellectuals. The project is being implemented with the support of “KAZAKH INVEST” NC JSC.

This is one of the important production initiatives aimed at developing the glass cluster in the region. The plant is equipped with cutting-edge German Horn technology and produces products that meet modern and environmental requirements.

At the ceremony, the regional governor noted the rapid implementation of investment projects in the region.

"Over the next three years, we plan to implement 48 investment projects worth 1.9 trillion tenge and create more than 10,000 new jobs," said Murat Nalkozhauly. The plant has been allocated 38 hectares of land in the Ondiris industrial zone, where all engineering infrastructure has been completed. Financing is being considered under the Industrial Development Fund's Green Development program. The plan is to produce competitive products and replace imported glass by recycling domestically collected glass waste.

Furthermore, the efficient use of the region's high-quality quartz sand, lime, and dolomite reserves will create opportunities for the development of new related glass manufacturing enterprises.

The new production facility is expected to enhance the region's industrial potential, increase export volumes, and provide sustainable employment.
