Spanish company "Roca Group" in Kyzylorda foundation factory
Today in Kyzylorda, the first stone was laid in the foundation of the factory for the production of sanitary equipment of the world-famous Spanish company Roca Group. The project is implemented with the support of KAZAKH INVEST NC JSC.
Among the distinguished guests attending the ceremony were Regional Governor Murat Yergeshbayev, General Director of Roca Group Daniel Jurado Hernandez, Economic and Commercial Counsellor of the Embassy of Spain Jesus Vidal Borrell, senior representatives of law enforcement agencies, and heads of major construction companies.
"Roca Group" is one of the world leaders in the production of plumbing equipment, which has more than a hundred years of history. The company manages 78 production sites around the world. It employs more than 20 thousand people. Its products are exported to more than 170 countries.
Addressing the ceremony, the regional governor underscored the importance of the investment and industrial development agenda outlined by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. He noted that the region has created a favorable investment climate conducive to the implementation of modern industrial projects and sustainable economic growth.
"In recent years, the investment potential of our region has grown, and large projects are successfully implemented. More than 2.3 trillion tenge investments have been attracted to the regional economy. In the next three years, it is planned to implement 48 investment projects worth 1.9 trillion tenge. As a result, more than 10 thousand new jobs will be created, said Murat Nalkozhauly.
The agreement on the construction of the Roca Group plant in the Kyzylorda region was concluded during the leadership of the region by Nurlybek Nalibayev, and the relevant documents were signed at the government level.
This is the first production enterprise in Kazakhstan that will produce plumbing products that meet international standards of environmental safety.
24 hectares of land has been allocated for the plant, investments amount to 44.1 billion tenge. Annual production capacity will reach 500 thousand units. Produced products will be delivered to the domestic market of Kazakhstan and exported to the countries of Central Asia.
In addition, about 300 permanent jobs will be created, training and advanced training of local specialists is planned. By the end of the year, the company plans to launch a production workshop for the assembly of mixers and assembly systems. Exhibition halls representing the company's products will be opened in June in Astana and Almaty.
