KAZAKH INVEST Discussed the Implementation of a South Korean Decarbonization Project
Today, NC KAZAKH INVEST JSC hosted a meeting with the management of Kazakhstan M-Gas LLP, including CEO Lee Jong-wook.
Representatives of the architectural and engineering company Hanlim, the energy holding company Korea East-West Power Co. LLP, the engineering company Green Electricity Engineering Corporation, The +HAMM Solz and FMG. participated in the talks.
The company represents a consortium of South Korean companies focused on implementing environmental initiatives in Kazakhstan.
The key topic of discussion was a project to reduce greenhouse gas emissions through the construction of a power plant in Shymkent. This initiative is being implemented within the framework of the Paris Agreement, and the project was also supported by the Korea State Environmental Corporation.
The parties discussed prospects for cooperation in the green energy sector and options for joint investment activities.
Following the meeting, the national company "KAZAKH INVEST" confirmed its readiness to support the project to build a power plant in Shymkent.
