Best foreign investors awarded in Astana
The 5th annual solemn ceremony of awarding foreign investors for investment activities in Kazakhstan took place on December 14 in Astana. The event was held with support of the Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, together with the JSC "National Company "KAZAKH INVEST".
Investors, heads of foreign diplomatic missions, business associations and organizations took part in the award ceremony.
The Ministry of Investment and Development and the JSC "NC "KAZAKH INVEST" noted the high potency of foreign investors, which in turn was the result of work carried out by the state to improve the investment climate. Over the past 13 years, the inflow of foreign direct investment in the Kazakhstan economy amounted to more than $ 300 billion.
This year, 10 companies operating in such sectors of the economy as construction, engineering, food industry have become the best foreign investors.
