Turkish investor plans to build a pharmaceutical plant in Kazakhstan

With the support of the Kazakhstan Embassy of Turkey and "NC "KAZAKH INVEST"JSC Turkish company "ATABAY" planning to build a pharmaceutical plant in Almaty.

Within the framework of the visit, working meetings were held with the heads

The Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Akimat of the city of Almaty, the National Center of Expertise in Medicines and Medical Products of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan, "SK-Pharmacy" LLP, and "Industry Development Fund" JSC.

During the meeting with KAZAKH INVEST, Head of the company "ATABAY" Zeynep Atabay confirmed her intention to build a pharmaceutical plant with a R&D center. Now the company has initiated the procedure for the registration of medicines in Kazakhstan.

In turn, Meirzhan Yussupov, Chairman of the Board of "NC "KAZAKH INVEST" JSC, assured Turkish investors to fully support the project, noting that its successful implementation will give an additional impetus to the pharmaceutical industry of the country.

It is worth noting that during the pandemic, the company «ATABAY» was among the first to send humanitarian aid to Kazakhstan.
