Turkish Investors Intend to Introduce Advanced Technologies in Kazakhstani Medical Institutions
The Turkish company "Atasan Medikal" is exploring the possibilities of investment cooperation with Kazakhstan. Foreign businesspersons intend to implement a technological project in the field of healthcare that has no analogs in the country. Investors announced this during a meeting with the Deputy Chairman of the Board of “NC “KAZAKH INVEST” JSC Zhandos Temirgali in Nur-Sultan.
According to representatives of Atasan Medikal, the company plans to localize the production of pneumatic tube transportation systems in Kazakhstan. Today, in modern hospitals, these systems are actively used for the rapid transportation of patient records from the registry, analyses from departments and operating rooms to the laboratory, laboratory test results, x-rays, donated blood bags, transplants, medicines to the ward, etc.

“To date, our pneumatic mail systems are used in 30 hospitals and 4 factories. We also have more than 10 active projects in Turkey and nearby countries. In modern conditions, pneumatic mail has become an integral part of large medical centers and hospitals around the world. Thanks to such systems, medical staff can devote more time to patients, which will positively affect the provision of medical services,” said Baris Yigit, Chairman of Atasan Medikal.
In turn, the Deputy Chairman of the Board of the national company Zhandos Temirgali acquainted the partners with the investment potential and measures to support foreign business in Kazakhstan and spoke in detail about the activities of KAZAKH INVEST.

"We are observing the growing interest of investors in the implementation of technological projects in Kazakhstan. In this regard, the modernization of domestic healthcare is of particular importance, including through the introduction of digital tools and automation to increase the level of service in Kazakh medical institutions," said Zhandos Temirgali.
It is planned that this project will be implemented jointly with a Kazakh partner. To date, investors are actively negotiating with medical institutions for the implementation of a pilot project with its further presentation in all regions of Kazakhstan.
