Construction of Clinics and Meat Processing - Italians are Planning New Projects in Kazakhstan
As part of the visit to Italy, a Kazakh delegation held bilateral meetings with a number of Italian companies. Present at the meetings were Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Italian Republic, Erbolat Sembayev, Chairman of the Board of KAZAKH INVEST Meirzhan Yussupov, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Baiterek National Managing Holding Nurbolat Aidapkelov, representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan, and the Kazakh business community.
During the meeting with the Kazakh delegation, the management of one of Italy's leading healthcare holdings, GKSD Healthcare Management & Consulting, confirmed its intention to implement an investment project to build a smart clinic in Astana. Following the meeting, the parties agreed on a visit by the company's technical group to Kazakhstan in the near future. The company was informed about the program of the Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan for the development of healthcare infrastructure in rural areas.
While visiting Allied Group, a leading manufacturer of specialty products for the oil and gas industry, thermal and nuclear power engineering, the company representatives expressed their intention to implement a project for the production of fittings and related products in Kazakhstan. Allied Group has 10 offices, 14 plants, and 7 warehouses worldwide. The production capacity is 100,000 fittings and 20,000 elbow pipes per year.
As part of the visit, the delegation also visited the production site of Cremonini Group, an Italian multinational company operating in the food industry. The company's management expressed interest in implementing projects in Kazakhstan, noting that Kazakhstan is a strategically important market for the implementation of its products. The company was founded in the province of Modena in 1963 by Luigi Cremonini. Currently, the company has 18,500 employees worldwide, and in 2021, its revenue amounted to 4.077 billion euros.
The Kazakh delegation also visited the Parmalat Group, one of the largest food production and distribution companies in Italy. At present, the company owns three factories in Kazakhstan and sells its products under the brands "FoodMaster", "BIO-S Immune +", "Loko Moko", "Dolce", and President. The company representatives expressed readiness for further cooperation.
