Countries in South America are Interested in Strengthening Their Relations with Kazakhstan
The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Brazil hosted the second annual Round Table with the participation of heads of diplomatic missions from Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Colombia, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, and Ecuador, as well as representatives of the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The meeting was organized to present investment and trade opportunities in Kazakhstan to the South American region and to discuss ways to expand cooperation. These meetings are one of the important channels of communication and interaction between our countries.

During the meeting, South American diplomats were presented with Kazakhstan's trade, economic, transit-transport, and investment potential, as well as opportunities for Kazakh exports. Galymzhan Matayev, the representative of "NC "KAZAKH INVEST" JSC in North America, in his presentation, talked about the investment policy, state measures to improve the investment climate, and new support tools for potential investors. The speaker focused on why Kazakhstan is an attractive place for foreign investors, and also talked about industries and economic niches in Kazakhstan that may be of interest to South American companies. He also proposed specific projects that have been prepared for consideration by foreign companies. In this context, investment intentions in Kazakhstan by regional companies such as "WEG" (Brazil) and "ME Elecmetal" (Chile) were cited as a positive example.

The heads of diplomatic missions from South American countries showed interest in investment opportunities in our country and confirmed their readiness to activate bilateral investment and economic cooperation.
