Representatives of the Public Council of KAZAKH INVEST Took Part in the USAID Seminar
Recently, with the support of the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a training was held to strengthen the potential of members of
public councils at all levels.
Timurkhan Zhanabergenov, Chairman of the Public сouncil of «KAZAKH INVEST» NC» JSC, and representatives of the Council Ali Maykhiev, Adilzhan Ustenov, Makhabbat Alisheva, and Marat Saydnasimov participated in the event.
The participants of the seminar got acquainted with the strategic planning of the activities of public councils, exchanged experience and best practices.
They were also told about what forms of public control can be used for the effective operation of public councils.
The training also discussed the realization of the institutional potential of public councils for further development of a constructive partnership between the state and society in the recent State-of-the-Nation Address by President of the Republic of Kazakhstan «New Kazakhstan: the path of renewal and modernization»
The American Bar Association has been working since October 2020 to implement the USAID-funded Kazakhstan Rule of Law Program (KRLP), which aims to create a legal climate for businesses to increase confidence and international investment in Kazakhstan, as well as improve the legal framework for civil society.
The program supports improvements in the investment and business climate and the legal environment for civil society organizations.
The program works with the Supreme Court of Kazakhstan, the Union of Judges, the Academy of Justice under the Supreme Court, and the Ministry of Information and Social Development.
