Meeting with the management of a Canadian oil and gas company
Nur-Sultan, March 15, 2021 - Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tileuberdi held a meeting with Managing Director of the Canadian oil and gas company “Condor Petroleum” Norman Storm.
The interlocutors discussed a wide range of issues of economic development in the post-crisis period, business, and investment in Kazakhstan. “Condor Petroleum” is interested in the implementation of an investment project for the construction of a plant for the production of liquefied natural gas in Kazakhstan.
The company has been working for over 20 years in the oil and gas industry of Kazakhstan. Currently, an oil production project is being implemented at the Zharkamys field in the Aktobe region. To date, “Condor Petroleum’ has already invested more than USD 250 million in the country's economy.
