Кazakhstan and India Strengthen Investment Cooperation
In Almaty, with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in India and "NC "KAZAKH INVEST" JSC, a briefing was held for the Merchants Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI) from Kolkata, India. Representatives from governmental bodies and business communities of both countries participated in the event. The purpose of the briefing was to strengthen investment and economic cooperation.

The event was opened with a welcome speech by Namit Bajoria, President of the Merchants Chamber of Commerce & Industry, who noted that the delegation included 19 companies from various sectors of the Indian economy interested in expanding relations with Kazakhstan, including through the implementation of joint investment projects. He called on both sides to intensify their economic relations.

In turn, Regional Representative of "NC "KAZAKH INVEST" JSC in Almaty, Olzhas Akhmetbekov, presented Kazakhstan's investment potential, discussed measures of government support, and emphasized that Kazakhstan is interested in exchanging experiences and technologies in various sectors of the economy. He invited Indian businessmen to implement projects in Kazakhstan.
The event concluded with bilateral B2B meetings between the business communities of the two countries.

As part of the visit, the Indian delegation met with Marat Sultangaziyev, Akim of Almaty Region, and also visited a number of industrial enterprises in the region.
