Kazakhstan and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Discuss Prospects for Trade and Economic Cooperation

As part of the official visit of the Kazakh delegation to the United States, a meeting was held with representatives of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. The event was attended by the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Almasadam Satkaliyev, Senior Vice President for the Asia-Pacific region at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Khush Choksy, as well as representatives of Kazakh and American businesses.

During the discussions, the parties addressed key issues related to trade and economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and the United States, investment attraction, improvement of the business climate, and support for American companies operating in the Kazakh market. Particular attention was given to strengthening partnerships in the energy sector, including the oil and gas industry, renewable energy, and nuclear power.

Marat Birimzhan, the Representative of JSC "NC "KAZAKH INVEST" in the United States, emphasized the significance of this initiative in strengthening economic ties between the two countries and creating new business opportunities in the region.

"Such events contribute to an increase in the number of American companies with advanced technologies investing in Kazakhstan's economy, including through localization of production in our country," noted Marat Birimzhan.

The U.S. side expressed its readiness to expand cooperation, highlighting positive changes in Kazakhstan’s economic policy and the growing interest of businesses in joint initiatives. At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue the dialogue and develop new projects aimed at strengthening bilateral trade and economic relations.
