Kazakhstan and Indonesia Discussed Issues of Investment Cooperation
Chairman of the Investment Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Gabidulla Ospankulov and Chairman of the Board of the Foreign Trade Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Karimsakov held a working meeting with Ambassador of Indonesia to the Republic of Kazakhstan M. Fadjroel Rahman at the site of JSC "NC "KAZAKH INVEST."
During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of bilateral trade, economic and investment cooperation, as well as the upcoming visit of Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi to Kazakhstan in July this year.
The Indonesian representatives thanked the Kazakh side for its support in unlocking the potential of joint work in the trade, economic, investment, and tourism sectors.
In 2023, the trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Indonesia amounted to $284.6 million. Mining and manufacturing industries and food, agricultural and medical sectors are among the promising areas.
