KAZAKH INVEST Held a Meeting with French Business Media
As part of information work with the international media community, the Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of "NC "KAZAKH INVEST" JSC Zhandos Temirgali held a meeting with the heads of major French publications. The meeting was attended by Chief Editor of «Economie Matin» Jean-Baptiste Giraud and journalist Louis-Marie du Breuil de Pontbriand («Conflits»).
During the interview, Zhandos Temirgali acquainted the guests with the investment potential of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the opportunities of the key industries, the measures of state support for investment, and the activities of KAZAKH INVEST.
Besides, during the conversation, the issues of reforms in the social and economic life of Kazakhstan, implementation of structural reforms, particularly development of a new Concept of investment policy following ESG principles were touched upon.

«The priority for Kazakhstan is investment projects with a high social component, aimed at creating environmentally friendly production facilities and quality jobs. We are working to attract companies to manufacturing sectors that will provide safe jobs with competitive salaries and attention to improving the qualifications of local specialists», - the speaker said.
Zhandos Temirgali also noted that at the moment in Kazakhstan there are over 170 companies with participation of French capital. Among them are such companies as «Total», «Vicat», «Air Liquide», «Urbasolar», «Danone», «Schneider Electric», «Lactalis», «Leroy Merlin», «PCM» and others. According to him, to date, the pool of KAZAKH INVEST includes 29 investment projects with the participation of French companies totaling $923 million in industries such as mechanical engineering, renewable energy, food industry, gas chemistry, production of building materials, etc.
