KAZAKH INVEST held a series of webinars for foreign institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the instruments of state support for investment activities
This format is aimed at explaining the work of the three-level system for attracting investments to Kazakhstan, presenting the current situation in the field of trade and economic relations with foreign countries and project expertise, as well as bringing information about existing restrictions and preferences.
Thus, during the webinar, information was provided about the investment climate of Kazakhstan, the role of KAZAKH INVEST and the services offered for investors. An up-to-date section on cooperation between Kazakhstan and foreign countries in the implementation of investment projects was also presented, information on priority sectors for investment was provided.
Also, Deputy Director of the Department for Investment Promotion and Marketing Saken Olzhabayev presented information about attracting investments and interaction of various organizations within the three-level system, measures of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan to improve the business climate and create favorable conditions for foreign investors to the attention of embassy staff.
At the same time, the Director of the Service support Department Alida Tuebekova made a report on the types of investment projects and the attraction of foreign labor in the implementation of investment priority projects, on the types of state support, the mechanism for obtaining preferences, as well as on the Investment Agreement.
Along with this, the Head of the Task Force Group, Azamat Kozhanov, spoke in detail about the new division of the “Task Force” Company and the implementation of major strategic projects.
In addition, representatives of QazTrade and QazIndustry familiarized the diplomats with the mechanism for obtaining support, the application process, as well as the activities of FEZs and their legal regime. The speakers also presented a pool of niche projects in various sectors of the economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
At the end of the webinar, a question and answer session was held, during which representatives of foreign institutions were able to ask questions of interest and get comprehensive answers to them.
