KAZAKH INVEST at the Presidential Youth Personnel Reserve Forum
Leila Gimranova, Deputy Director of the Projects Department at JSC "NC "KAZAKH INVEST," took part in the forum of the Presidential Youth Personnel Reserve, which was held with the participation of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
At the event, L. Gimranova presented the work on attracting investments in the manufacturing sector. The deputy director told the President about the algorithm targeting investors to implement projects to localize production in the country. Its goal is to create industrial cooperation between investors and local producers to increase the inflow of investments into the manufacturing industry.
Thus, using this algorithm, the South Korean company Hi Air Korea, which is the largest manufacturer of oil and gas equipment in the world, was attracted to Kazakhstan. In September last year, agreements were made to establish a joint venture with the Almaty Fan Plant. The total investment will amount to about $10 million with the creation of new jobs. The South Korean company expressed its readiness to exchange experience and technologies.
"I hope that the capabilities of the Presidential Youth Personnel Reserve will help scale this initiative and work in this direction more effectively, increasing the inflow of foreign investment into the manufacturing industry," L. Gimranova said at the end of her speech.
The Presidential Youth Personnel Reserve was created to identify and attract talented youth to the public administration system. The applicants go through several competitive stages, according to the results of which only 50 people are selected. L. Gimranova was enrolled in the reserve in December 2023.
