KAZAKH INVEST Participates in Kazakhstan–Czech Business Forum: Partnership Expansion Opportunities Discussed

As part of the Czech delegation’s visit to Kazakhstan, the Kazakhstan–Czech Business Forum was held, bringing together representatives of government bodies, development institutions, and over 40 companies from both countries engaged in industry, energy, agriculture, transport, digitalization, tourism, and healthcare.

From the Kazakh side, Anel Turasheva, Head of Cooperation with European Countries at JSC “NC KAZAKH INVEST,” spoke during the panel session. In her address, she highlighted the opportunities for localizing Czech production in Kazakhstan, the government support measures available to investors, and the potential for joint projects within the country’s industrial and innovation development agenda.

“Kazakhstan is interested in technological partnerships with Czech companies, especially in areas such as mechanical engineering, medical equipment, digitalization, and sustainable infrastructure. We are ready to provide full support to foreign investors — from site selection to export facilitation.”

From the Czech side, participants included representatives of the Czech Chamber of Commerce, the Export Guarantee and Insurance Corporation, and companies such as MEDDI Hub, PROMA REHA, ZPA Pečky, ERA, SVÚM, TraMoTech, and others. The forum discussions covered mutual export opportunities, technology transfer, access to EU and EAEU markets, and high-localization projects.

B2B meetings between Czech and Kazakh businesses were also held. Kazakh companies — including Development Bank of Kazakhstan, Kazakhmys, Kazakhstan Engineering, Kazakh Tourism, Zhezkazganredmet, Astana Hub, NIT, Hyundai Trans Kazakhstan, eCapital, EMC Agro, EnterAR, and others — presented their current projects and investment needs.

The business forum served as a continuation of the work of the Kazakhstan–Czech Intergovernmental Commission and gave participants a platform to discuss concrete steps for deepening economic cooperation and launching new joint initiatives.
