KAZAKH INVEST and Ministry of Commerce of China discussed the Prospects of Investment Cooperation
Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of JSC “NC KAZAKH INVEST,” Madiyar Sultanbek met with Yang Yihan, Deputy Director of the Investment Promotion Agency of the Ministry of Commerce of China. During the negotiations, the parties discussed key issues related to investment cooperation and the further development of bilateral relations.
In particular, they explored promising areas for attracting Chinese investments in key sectors of the Kazakh economy, including renewable energy, infrastructure development, and agriculture. Notably, several Chinese companies have already expressed their readiness to invest and implement projects in these sectors.
Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of KAZAKH INVEST Madiyar Sultanbek, emphasized that Kazakhstan is keen to expand cooperation with Chinese partners in implementing major investment initiatives in strategically important sectors. He invited Chinese companies to participate in key business events this year, such as the Astana International Forum (AIF) and the Kazakhstan Global Investment Roundtable (KGIR).
In turn, Yang Yihan, Deputy Director of the Investment Promotion Agency of the Ministry of Commerce of China, reaffirmed his interest in strengthening the partnership and invited Kazakh companies to participate in the 25th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT), which will take place in China this September.
Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their mutual commitment to deepening investment cooperation and agreed to further coordinate joint actions to strengthen bilateral economic ties.
