KAZAKH INVEST at the II Eurasian Financial and Economic Forum
Managing Director of JSC "NC "KAZAKH INVEST" (Member of the Board of Directors of ICBC Khorgos and FEZ Khorgos – Eastern Gate) Azamat Kozhanov took part in the II Eurasian Financial and Economic Forum – Khorgos "East-West: Business without Borders," organized by the Association of Banks of the Republic of Kazakhstan jointly with the People's Government of Khorgos (PRC) and the Financial and Business Association of Eurasian Cooperation.
The forum brought together about 300 representatives of government and public structures, international financial and development institutions, banks, and commercial structures of the SCO, EAEU, Caspian region, and the EU. During the event, 45 speakers spoke, discussing several topical issues, including financial integration in the Eurasian space, the development of international transport corridors, the direct investment market, etc.
Thus, the President of the Association of Banks of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the FBA EAC Business Council, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bank CenterCredit JSC Bakhytbek Baiseitov made a welcoming speech, during which he stressed the importance of integrating border zones.
During the forum's plenary session, A. Kozhanov presented Kazakhstan's investment potential and state support measures, familiarized the participants with the activities of KAZAKH INVEST, and invited them to implement projects jointly. The Managing Director highlighted the main advantages of Kazakhstan, including strategic access to major markets, favorable geographical location of the country, and a rich resource base, and presented key areas for joint project development.
"To date, within the framework of KAZAKH INVEST's activities, an analysis has been developed on the competitive advantages of the production of deep grain processing and retail food products for mainland China. Considering the competitive cost, we invite Chinese companies to implement these projects jointly," A. Kozhanov noted.
Following the forum, representatives of the two countries agreed to strengthen cooperation further. The event became a significant stage in the creation of new business ties, emphasizing Kazakhstan and China's desire to expand their economic and investment partnership.
