Israeli Companies are Interested in Projects in the Field of Agriculture in Kazakhstan
Israeli investors are ready to take part in joint projects with Kazakhstan in the field of agriculture, as well as water management.
In particular, familiarization meetings held with government agencies, relevant organizations and Kazakh business, during which potential partners were presented with investment and business opportunities in Kazakhstan.
Zeev Levin, General Director of the Kazakh-Israeli Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said that Israeli companies have recently shown more and more interest in Kazakhstan, and therefore the support of KAZAKH INVEST will play a big role in the implementation of new initiatives in Kazakhstan.
The Israeli delegation included companies in the field of agriculture (Agrigo), in the field of water management (state company Mekorot), an export insurance company (Ashra Insurance), as well as the Kazakh-Israeli Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Thus, Agrigo, which specializes in the development and turnkey construction of high-tech livestock and agricultural complexes, greenhouses and aquaculture projects, expressed interest in participating as a developer and co-investor in projects for processing sunflower oil, growing salmon, building a pig farm and launching a biofertilizer production.
In turn, the Israeli state water management company Mekorot is ready to apply its extensive experience in Kazakhstan.
