Italian Investor Chooses the Region to Allocate the Manufacturing of Electrical Products
As part of the visit to Kazakhstan, the management of the international company DKC held a meeting with "NC "KAZAKH INVEST" JSC. The parties discussed issues of localizing the production of cable and pipe products, low-voltage equipment, etc.
Zhandos Temirgali, Deputy Chairman of the Board of KAZAKH INVEST emphasized that Italy is one of the most important trade and economic partners of Kazakhstan. Potential investors were also familiarized with the state support measures and activities of KAZAKH INVEST. Assistance in obtaining various permits required for the implementation and further operation of investment projects, as well as assistance in obtaining investment preferences will greatly facilitate the first steps of investors in the new market. He also noted that KAZAKH INVEST will provide comprehensive assistance in the localization of production in the regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
According to Sandro Bergamo, Co-founder and Member of the Board of Directors of the DKC, the company has 36 factories around the world, employing more than 4,000 people. The company's turnover in 2022 amounted to 620 million euros. Founded in the late 90s, DKC, developing its production and introducing new efficient technologies, is now one of the largest manufacturers of cable support systems and low-voltage equipment in Europe.
Askhat Bekenov, Director of the Department of Project noted that cable and wire products are among the priority products for the development of products in Kazakhstan, the goods of this group are in the nature of an annually demanded imported product. Thus, the total potential for import of cable and wire products in the Republic of Kazakhstan is about $400 million, which represents a huge untapped potential for domestic production.
