Italian And Kazakh Companies Discussed New Opportunities For Cooperation At The Online Event "Italy Meets Kazakhstan"

Altynai Mukanova, the Foreign Representative of JSC "NC "KAZAKH INVEST" in Italy took part in the online event "Italy Meets Kazakhstan," organized by the Italian National Development Institute Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (CDP) in cooperation with the Embassy of Italy in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Italian Trade Agency (ITA), as well as SIMEST, SACE, Confindustria, and CNA.

Among the participants were also representatives of the Embassy of Italy in Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Baiterek Holding, QazTrade, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kazakhstan, leading institutions, as well as Italian companies Renco and Arba Wine.

The event brought together over 250 representatives from the business community and government bodies of Kazakhstan and Italy, confirming the strong interest in expanding bilateral cooperation.

During the meeting, the parties discussed key areas of bilateral economic cooperation, prospects for expanding investment partnerships, and opportunities for using digital solutions to establish effective B2B connections. Special attention was given to the development of trade and economic relations between Kazakhstan and Italy, the investment potential of the Kazakh market, and support mechanisms for joint projects.

In her speech, Altynai Mukanova, the Foreign Representative of KAZAKH INVEST in Italy, emphasized the importance of a sustainable strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Italy, as well as the active investment cooperation in key sectors of the economy.

“Kazakhstan and Italy maintain a sustainable strategic partnership that covers key sectors such as energy, mechanical engineering, food industry, green energy, and infrastructure. Italian companies are showing growing interest in localizing production and implementing joint projects in Kazakhstan. The official visit of the President of the Council of Ministers of Italy, Giorgia Meloni, to Kazakhstan in May of this year marked an important step in strengthening bilateral economic cooperation. Kazakhstan offers favorable conditions for foreign investors, including tax and customs incentives, state support measures, and preferences in special economic zones. KAZAKH INVEST is ready to provide comprehensive support to foreign partners at every stage of investment project implementation.”

The online event "Italy Meets Kazakhstan" reaffirmed the high potential and mutual interest of both sides in expanding mutually beneficial cooperation.
