The "Kazakhstan Investment Day" investment forum was held in Germany
The German bank Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW) and the German Eastern Business Association, with the assistance of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Germany, organized the "Kazakhstan Investment Day" investment forum in Frankfurt am Main.
Nurlan Onzhanov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Germany, and Christiane Laibach, Member of the KfW Board, delivered welcoming remarks.
Nurlan Onzhanov noted the growing interest of German businesses in Kazakhstan and emphasized the importance of the forum for developing direct contacts between the business communities of the two countries.
KfW Board Member Christiane Laibach emphasized the prospects for expanding financial cooperation, including support for infrastructure and environmental projects in Kazakhstan.
In his speech, Ersayin Nagaspayev, Minister of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan, presented the country's industrial policy priorities, noting ongoing efforts to diversify the economy, develop manufacturing and infrastructure, and attract foreign investment.
At the forum, Asel Suankulova, Managing Director of the Investment Promotion and Marketing Department of the JSC "NC "KAZAKH INVEST", presented Kazakhstan's investment opportunities, outlined priority areas for cooperation, and invited German companies to implement joint projects.
The event was attended by approximately 200 representatives of German companies, industry associations, financial institutions, and the banking sector.
The forum allowed participants to discuss practical issues related to the implementation of joint investment projects, opportunities for industrial and technological cooperation, prospects for expanding bilateral economic cooperation, and project financing.
The JSC "NC "KAZAKH INVEST" participated in bilateral meetings between Ersayin Nagaspayev, Minister of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and representatives of the German business community.
The meetings confirmed the parties' mutual interest in further strengthening the strategic partnership between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Federal Republic of Germany, as well as their intention to implement new projects in the industrial, raw materials, and technology sectors of Kazakhstan's economy.
