Investment Attractiveness of Kazakhstan was Presented to Italian Business
The issues of Kazakhstan's investment attractiveness and the development of economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Italy during the pandemic were discussed at a joint business forum in Milan. The forum was attended by more than 50 executives and representatives of Italian companies, as well as over 130 participants online.
The Kazakh side was represented by Deputy Chairman of the Board of “NC “KAZAKH INVEST” JSC Zhandos Temirgali, Deputy Chairman of the Board of “NC “Kazakh Tourism” JSC Kairat Sadvakasov, Director General of the International Center for the Development of Oil and Gas Engineering Marat Karimov, as well as representatives of the Nursultan Nazarbayev Foundation and SC-Pharmacy LLP.
The Italian side was represented by a member of the Italian Parliament and a member of the Kazakhstan-Italy Friendship Group Marco Osnato, President of the Kazakh–Italian Chamber of Commerce Paolo Ghirelli, as well as the management of a number of large Italian companies.
Thus, investment and tourism opportunities of Kazakhstan and prospects for the development of trade and economic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Italy were presented at the event.
Opening the business forum, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Italy Yerbolat Sembayev noted that for 30 years Kazakhstan has become a modern democratic state with a progressively developing economy. The head of the diplomatic mission also stressed that Kazakhstan attaches special importance to relations with Italy, considering it as one of the most important strategic partners in Europe.
Within the framework of the meeting, Zhandos Temirgali, Deputy Chairman of the Board of “NC “KAZAKH INVEST” JSC, made a presentation on the main advantages of implementing investment projects in the Republic of Kazakhstan, measures of state support for business and the activities of the national company.

For potential investors, we provide comprehensive information about the country, as well as industry reviews and, importantly, specific investment proposals prepared by our team. We organize targeted visits of investors to Kazakhstan and help them find a strategic local partner”, - added Zhandos Temirgali.
In addition, a photo exhibition dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan's Independence, as well as books by the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A.Nazarbayev and Abai Kunanbayev were presented to the guests on the sidelines of the event.
It should be noted that the business forum was organized by the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Italy, with the support of the government of the Lombardy region, the Kazakh-Italian Trade Association (ACIK), as well as “NC “KAZAKH INVEST” JSC.
