The Head of State Met with the President of LUKOIL PJSC Vagit Alekperov
Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev was presented with a report on the results of the oil company's activities in Kazakhstan and plans for the implementation of a number of joint projects in the hydrocarbon sector.
Vagit Alekperov informed the President about the dynamically developing cooperation between the national company KazMunayGas and PJSC LUKOIL on projects for the development of the Kazakh sector of the Caspian Sea. Subsoil use contracts have been signed and work has begun within the framework of the Zhenis and Al-Farabi projects. LUKOIL is also a strategic partner in the development of the Kalamkas-Sea and Khazar offshore deposits.
The Head of State noted the importance of maximizing the involvement of Kazakh companies and local labor resources in the implementation of subcontracting work.
