German Company JUMO Considers Entering the Kazakh Market
Aibol Argyngazinov, Acting Chairman of the Management Board of JSC “NC “KAZAKH INVEST” held a meeting with Steffen Hossfeld, Chief Operating Officer of the German company JUMO GmbH. During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects of the company’s entry into the Kazakhstani market and opportunities for implementing joint projects.
JUMO is a leading manufacturer of industrial sensors and automation solutions. During the negotiations, the company presented its key products — temperature, pressure, level, flow, and humidity sensors, as well as technologies for liquid analysis, automation, and industrial monitoring. These solutions are used in heating and air conditioning, the food industry, renewable energy, and water treatment.
The company expressed interest in entering the Kazakh market and announced plans to open a commercial office in Almaty, establish a sales and service network, and gradually localize its products. In the future, JUMO views Kazakhstan as a base for exports to Central Asia, the Caucasus, and Mongolia.
During the meeting, Aibol Argyngazinov provided a detailed overview of government support measures for investors and the advantages of doing business in Kazakhstan, assuring JUMO of comprehensive assistance in implementing its projects. He added that the localization of production and the development of service infrastructure would create new jobs and contribute to the growth of technological culture in the domestic industry.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue joint work on the details of JUMO’s entry into the Kazakh market. It was emphasized that the partnership would expand production capacities, stimulate the development of local expertise, and strengthen the country’s integration into regional technological value chains.
