Finnish Companies are Ready to Implement Innovative Projects in Kazakhstan
Finnish investors are considering the possibility of implementing a number of innovative projects in Kazakhstan. This was announced during a working visit to Nur-Sultan by the Minister of Foreign Trade and International Development of the Republic of Finland, Ville Skinnari. The Finnish delegation also included representatives of such large companies as Nokia, Kone, Nurminen Logistics, Planmeca, etc.

During the meeting with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Almas Aidarov and the Chairman of the Management Board of KAZAKH INVEST Meirzhan Yussupov, the guests were provided with information on the investment climate, financial instruments, key advantages of project implementation and measures of state support for investments in Kazakhstan.
In turn, the Finnish side announced a number of initiatives for the implementation of projects in the field of telecommunications, mechanical engineering, logistics and healthcare.

Thus, the Vice-President of Nokia Mikko Lavanti announced the company's intention to become a participant in the modernization of the Kazakh LTE network and the launch of the national 5G network, as well as the expansion of technology for the construction of optical networks in the regions of Kazakhstan.

At the same time, Daba Ochirov, head of the Kone branch, noted that the company is already widely represented in the Kazakhstan market. Investors announced their readiness to bring cooperation to a new level and organize their own production in Kazakhstan. The company specializes in the production of innovative and eco-efficient elevators, escalators and automatic doors in buildings. It should be noted that Kone is a world leader in the design, manufacture and installation, as well as maintenance and modernization of this equipment.

In addition, Jouko Nykänen, Vice President of the world's largest private company in the field of dental equipment manufacturing, Planmeca, also noted his interest in implementing an investment project in Kazakhstan. The company's production spectrum includes digital dental units, integrated CAD / CAM systems, 2D and 3D imaging systems, as well as proprietary software that allows you to combine all digital dental equipment into a single network using one software platform.

Following the meeting, the Minister of Foreign Trade and Development of Finland, Ville Skinnari, said that within the framework of the next working trip, the business delegation is planning to visit a number of regions of Kazakhstan for a detailed acquaintance with the existing infrastructure and the possibilities of implementing investment projects.
