Chinese Сompany to Implement $600 mln Project in Deep Processing of Wheat
The meeting of the Managing Director of the national company Azamat Kozhanov with the management of the Chinese SHIJIXIANGHE Agribusiness Group Co., Ltd. was held at the site of JSC "NC "KAZAKH INVEST," during which the parties discussed the implementation of an investment project for the construction of a complex wheat processing plant worth more than $600 million. The meeting was attended by Deputy Akim of Aktobe region Abzal Abdikarimov, Chairman of the Board of JSC SEC Aktobe Auyez Taimbetov, as well as representatives of JSC "NC "KTZ" and JSC "NC "QazaqGaz."
Currently, SHIJIXIANGHE, together with Dalian Hesheng Holdings, is searching for a suitable region for the subsequent implementation of the project in Kazakhstan. It is expected that the annual volume of wheat processing in production will amount to 1 million tons. The peculiarity of the project is that related products such as wheat bran can be used as animal feed, another part as fertilizers, and starch as raw materials for subsequent complex processing. It is planned to produce other food products with high added value from starch. It is planned that the manufactured products will be supplied mainly to China and other countries.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the high importance of the project for the agro-industrial complex of Kazakhstan, which in turn will significantly increase the level of deep processing of agricultural products in the country.
In conclusion, the Kazakh representatives expressed their readiness to provide support measures in choosing a land plot, bringing the necessary infrastructure, and concluding the agreements required for the subsequent implementation of the project.
