Kazakhstan and China Discussed Investment Cooperation Issues
On July 26 this year, the Chinese-Eurasian Business Council met at the site of JSC "NC "KAZAKH INVEST" within the framework of the Astana Diplomatic Club. The Managing Director of the national company, Azamat Kozhanov, and Project Manager, Daulet Alibi, participated.
The Chinese side was represented by the heads of such companies as "Dream Future Culture Communication Co., Ltd.", "Henan Song Culture Communication Co., Ltd.", "Shanghai Hengliao Cultural Media Co., Ltd.", "Fujian Wanshi Liuxiang Agricultural Development Co., Ltd.", "Zhejiang Langyuan Liquor Industry Co., Ltd." and "Chongqing Taiwang Environmental Protection Engineering Co., Ltd." During the meeting, issues of deepening bilateral trade, economic and investment cooperation in the fields of tourism, agriculture and the food industry were discussed.
A. Kozhanov familiarized Chinese investors with the Republic of Kazakhstan's investment climate, state support measures, and national company work.
"Kazakhstan and China share good-neighborly relations covering all possible spheres. The Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit will be held very soon. We see many prospects for further deepening our diplomatic, economic, and investment relations. In this regard, we are pleased to welcome interested Chinese investors and invite them to cooperate," said the Managing Director.
D. Alibi also stressed the importance of expanding relations with Chinese investors:
"96 investment projects are being implemented between Kazakhstan and China, and more than 4,000 companies with Chinese capital are successfully operating in Kazakhstan. Given the high dynamics of the global economic environment, this result demonstrates the reliability and attractiveness of Kazakhstan's investment climate for China. We invite new Chinese investors to cooperate."
Representatives of the Chinese business community showed great interest in the implementation of joint promising projects and expressed their desire to establish further cooperation with Kazakhstani partners.
The Astana Diplomatic Club is a unique platform for strengthening the establishment of partnerships between representatives of the diplomatic corps, government agencies, the Kazakh and foreign business community, public organizations, and creative intelligentsia.
