An Austrian Holding Company is Implementing Investment Projects in Kazakhstan

The Chairman of the Investment Committee, Ardak Zebeshev, and the Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of KAZAKH INVEST, Zhandos Temirgali, met with the Commercial Director of Kronospan, Tomasz Yančak. The parties discussed the possibilities of expanding the company's investment activities in Kazakhstan.

Founded in Austria in 1897, Kronospan is one of the world's largest holdings for the production of wood-based panels. The company's production facilities are located in 21 countries, with a total of over 11,000 employees. Today, the group of companies holds leading positions in the world in the production of MDF panels, particleboards, and laminated floors.

Tomasz Yančak stated that Kronospan is implementing projects for the construction of production facilities in the Almaty region and a private industrial zone in the city of Shymkent. He also mentioned the company's interest in opening a logistics hub in the city of Aktau for exporting products to neighboring countries.

The Chairman of the Committee for Investments of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ardak Zebeshev, spoke about the advantages of investing in Kazakhstan, the favorable business climate of the country, measures of state support for the implementation of investment projects, and assured the readiness to provide full support for the company's projects in Kazakhstan, including the possibility of concluding an investment contract and organizing necessary negotiations with state authorities.
